Beginning as it usually does (with a
mix of rain and HOT weather), the Reading WWII Weekend went very well.
Highlights included the continued autographing of Gottfried Dulias'
biography, Another Bowl of Kapusta, downed pilot scenarios
with members of the Capital Wing of the Airmen's Preservation Society,
daily general formations in the "Mittelmeer Lager", the annual dinner in
uniform at the Alpenhof Restaurant (which included some of the best
reenactor singing you've ever heard). |

The fate
of the Frederick Airshow is uncertain. More information regarding
this event, formally held at Frederick and in August, will be posted as
soon as we get it. In the meantime, please browse our photos and
reports of past years. By clicking on Leutnant Dulias' photo at
right, you can also read a synopsis of his biography, recently chronicled
in Dianna Popp's book, Another Bowl of Kapusta.
